The Homesteader
For the cocktail nerds, this is a lot like an Old Fashioned, however you replace the sugar cube with our Smoking Bishop syrup - which is full of spices which makes for a beautifully rich cocktail with lots of depth in flavour.
COCKTAIL KIT INCLUDES:
- 1x Barley Spirit 200mL bottle
- 1x Smoking Bishop syrup 200mL bottle
- 2x Dried citrus garnish packs
- 2x Cocktail recipe cards

The HOMESTEADER cocktail
This is an after dinner sipping cocktail. It is deliciously bitter-sweet and rich in flavour.
Ingredients:
5mL Smoking Bishop spice syrup (1 tsp) (product of Mrs Baker's Still House)
10 dashes Angostura Bitters
30mL Whisky or Barley spirit (product of Mrs Baker's Still House)
1 Large Ice block
Garnish with orange, zest or dried
Method:
- Add Smoking Bishop syrup to your glass
- Add Angostura Bitters, mix the two together
- Add Whisky or Barley Spirit and gently stir.
- Add 1 large ice cube and citrus garnish
Hot tip: Rub the rim of your glass with orange zest for extra fragrance.
