Mrs Baker's Still House is a family owned and operated micro gin distillery located at Glenpatrick, established in 2016. Lead by a tight-knit mother-and-daughters team of Jane, Elizabeth & Georgette. Female distiller Elizabeth has a great talent in making beautiful gins with style and finesse. We are committed to sustainable, low-impact production methods. In keeping with this ethos, food miles remain low, with the base neutral spirit distilled from wine made and grown on the farm, and a 100% solar-powered distillation process. The sheltered valley of Glenpatrick is perfect for growing many of the botanicals used in the Mrs Baker’s Still House gins and gin liqueurs and liqueurs. Mrs Baker's favourite gin, Sensual & Intellectual uses citrus, angelica, bay, rosemary, orris root and thyme which are all grown in her gin garden. Other botanicals, that aren’t grown on the property, are foraged from the hills or picked from local farms. And then of course we have to import tropical botanicals such as cardamon and vanilla. This juniper rich gin won a silver medal at the 2022 Melbourne International Spirits Competition. |
